Citi Bank

Paula Scher was not only into making posters, but she also had a knack for creating logos. One of the most iconic logos that has ever been created is the "Citi Bank" logo. She created this logo back in 1998 when she was meeting with executive members of the corporation. Before Citi Bank came to be known as it is today, it was first split of between two entities known as "Citicorp" and "Travelers Group". Scher created the Citi Bank logo from inspiration of the "Travelers Group" logo which had an umbrella in it, she decided to incorporated here to represent where the bank comes from. The funny thing is, Scher created this logo on a napkin right when she was at the meeting.
