Now that the First 2 Layers have been completed, the next step is to Orient the Last Layer. This step has 57 different cases that can occur and will turn any orientation of the pieces to a solved top layer. Instead of learning all 57 algorithms, a simpler way to learn this is Two-Look OLL which breaks it up into two steps. This consists on nine algorithms instead of all 57.
The first step for Two-Look OLL is to get a cross on the top similar to the first step. There are four different cases that can occur. The first case is just a dot in the center, the second an L, the third a line and the fourth is a completed cross. Once the cross is completed there are seven different cases to learn.
